Dear Kelly de Groote-Olsen:

Hi Kelly,

Firstly, thank-you for writing to us!

At this time, Pearl's Choice only works with private retirement homes, which are usually not subsidized by government.

Having said that, each province in Canda has different rules and offerings through their long-term care branch. Some retirement homes set monthly rent income based on a senior's monthly fixed income. Unfortunately, these options are rare to come by.

When looking for homes on our website, you can always toggle the price range which would fit your parents budget. This will allow your search to only display properties in a range that could be feasible for them.

Lastly, I would also recommend looking into potentially public long-term care facilities. Not knowing your parents, and if they suffer from dementia, this might be an option to explore further!

Best,

Pearl
